I am not updating because I want to. To put it in exact quotes Steve called me "A USELESS JOKE OF A HUMAN BEING" because I am not as obsessed with Livejournal and Brad Fitz as he is but I think that is his subtle way of telling me that if I don't post he will slit my throat in my sleep. I was going to say put me in a cage without food or water but seeing as he already does that I had to think of another form of torture to write about. I am sorry I stayed away so long but him hitting on Nicole Richie is just too sick for me to handle.
First things first yesterday was my birthday thanks for the presents guys! As Steve mentioned we all went to a strip club for my birthday but what he failed to make note of is that he was the one standing up on the table swinging around a Gryffindor tie, secretly I think he was the one we were all watching. Dave may have broke the pinata and Steve may have eaten all of the tofu inside of it but I stole the actual pinata, it is standing proudly on my shelf right now. It really feels no different to be 24 than 23 but I guess you're not supposed to feel like that until next year, then I will be able to say I am 1/4 a century old and that is kind of scary.
I guess the obvious thing to talk about would be the new album. It's coming out on October 12th but sadly is not named after the gonorrhea twins anymore. The name has decidedly been switched to 'Chuck' after this really awesome dude named Chuck Pelletier who helped us get out of the Congo safe and sound and for that I think we owe him a little more than our extreme gratitude. He was a fun guy too so why not? I'm not sure he knows that we are naming the album after HIM yet but all will be heard in time. Uhh and that is that.
We have been doing little tour dates here and there and some festival shows in England but today we are in Sault Ste. Marie, ON according to pollstar.com playing a show at the Roberta Bondar Center. Awesome I am just waiting for them to announce our fall tour plans so I can practice standing in the middle of the street for more fanpics. What else oh right last month we also taped an episode of Hard Rock Live for MTV, it was only in front of 3000 people but it felt like thousands more. It was the first time in a while we had a show like that and it was nice to get back into that feel you know? We mostly played our old stuff but we also played the new single "We're All To Blame" which you can now download on our site so go do that now goons.

i guess i am going to be keeping my journal public for the time being. there really is no point to it other than the fact that new and exciting people can see just how exciting i am really not, but besides that nothing. i'm not about to sit here and reintroduce myself because let's face the facts just about everyone who should knows who i am and if not you can just as easily see here thank you VERY much.
so where do i begin? my long absence is due to a couple of reasons i get, the main one being that we were in the congo. yes i thought it was a joke at first but we were actually there in flesh and blood, the entire thing was a reality slap in the face and really kind of amazing. not amazing in the sense that oh gee this is great but in that mind-altering sick-to-your-stomach 'oh shit' kind of reaction. yeah. war outbroke while we were there so we were rushed to get out but none the less we are [sadly] back safe and sound. we meaning the two members that are nonexsistant around these parts and the one only alive when he is in paparazzi pictures cuddling with avril lavigne oh please.
and now i guess the reasonable thing to do would be to mention our album and how amazing it is going to be and how all of our fans are going to be totally blown away with it's existance. or not. we've finally come up with a name for it actually it is more of a working title if you will, the plans are not definite but we are most certainly leaning towards 'hot blonde snooter sandwich' hello paris hilton how have you been. but all in all the album is basically almost done being put together and in a couple of months at most it will be ready for everyone to conveniently buy and listen to. how fortunate or not the world may just be.
so there you have it my busy life at one's fingertips. not exactly what you'd call phenominal but could be considered a fun time and hey i deal so whatever. i am back now with no real intentions of going unnoticed and not forgetting about this thing. again. so mark hoppus i really hope you're satisfied that i would pull something out of my ass like this for you. where is steve where is deryck where is dave goodbye
